You may have been wondering why there hasn’t been a blog post in over a month. Unfortunately, it was due to a sudden death in the family of a partner at Oliver Lens. This person was gone without warning, in his mid-40’s.
So, there has been a lot of time spent with the extended family and, rightfully, choosing to put the business to the side for that time. We knew we would get back on track and be upfront and honest with you when the time was right to do so.
Now, we’re picking up where we left off and want to say some things about it:
It was an incredibly sad time for everyone and a lot to process. There were tears, arguments, fears, but mostly, there was reflection on this person’s life. And after tons of prayer and thought, everyone agreed that they are THANKFUL for what this man did for them, their lives, and how he lived his own life.
And that’s exactly what we want to say. LIVE YOUR LIFE, friends. LIVE IT WITH PURPOSE. Your purpose. The way you were meant to from the moment your mother first laid her eyes on you.
Your life is a unique journey and summed up at the end (whenever that may be) by how you lived your purpose. You are not like anyone else. No one can tell you exactly what that purpose looks like. So look into your heart. Maybe you are inherently a funny person… make jokes! Maybe you are a headstrong person… seek justice! Maybe you are your best when you are outdoors with nature… sow seeds! Do what makes you happy and fulfills YOUR purpose.
For us, creative, beautiful stories are our purpose. And we hope that by capturing the most important day of your life, we fulfill our purpose and give you a memory of all your loved ones surrounding you at your wedding. And you can keep that memory forever, even after some of them are gone.
We don’t take that for granted and hope that you will choose us for the purpose of your wedding day memories.
